Ride Level: Urban ride, newcomers and intermediate, easy pace.

Route description:
On this circuit of the estates on both sides of Highway 8, west of the city, we ride on pathways and quiet roads in upscale neighborhoods next to woods and lakes (Gain 140m.) We start at Clearwater Park and head south of Highway 8 to the Lott Creek neighborhood and the Elbow Springs Golf Club. We turn west through Misty Morning, Whispering Woods, Snowberry, and Aspen Green, where we stop for lunch. The western end of the tour comprises a ride up Braemar and a loop around West Meadows Estates. We return on Lott Creek Drive and cross to the north side of Highway 8 to cycle on hidden paths next to the Elbow River and Clearwater Lake. Clearwater Drive takes us to the finish.

Operations
- The ride will have a co-leader, a sweep, employ radios, and regroup at intervals. No one will be left behind.
- Bring lunch, snacks, and water.
- Take your route recording device for more enjoyment and the possibility of leading this ride or a suitable variant next year.
- It will be helpful if you arrive 15 minutes before the start for bike preparation, meet and greet, and a quick safety drill.
- E-Bikes are welcome.
Notification and Registration: The system will notify all Friday events and open them for rider registration ONE week beforehand.
Non-members are welcome as guests. They must fill out the waiver on our website under the Join Us/Guest Waiver and email it to guest@elbowvalleycc.org. Members can sponsor and register one guest. Unsponsored guests will be registered as guests of the coordinator after receipt of their waivers.
Waitlist: If you find the ride filled, you are encouraged to put your name on the waitlist. The chances are that you will replace a cancellation done automatically.
Cancellation: Suppose you are signed up and find you have to cancel. Please do so as soon as you know to leave space for someone else. Suppose it is necessary to cancel because of weather or another reason. In that case, I will notify you on this page and by Email or telephone by 8 am on the event day.
