Barrier Lake Dam Stoney Trail, Int, 33km, 550m, MariaSaley

Join us for a scenic ride by Barrier Lake in Kananaskis.     We will park at the Barrier Dam parking and then ride across the dam and along Stoney trail almost  to the road up to Nakiska, then turn back and have a snack by the water.   We will then continue and hook up with the same way we came.   The trail is mostly old doubletrack road, with a few steep and rocky parts and there is some easy singletrack as well.   Nice views of Barrier Lake.  

Must have a Mountain bike in good condition, helmet, water, bear spray. (Bears are frequently seen in this area).  Bug spray is also recommended.  Bring something to eat at our snack stop.  Weather can be changeable so be prepared.
