Start Location: Sirroco Golf and Country Club. (Please park in the overflow area on the far west of the parking lot as indicated by the Google map pin.)

Description:

This is short route with a lot of climbing and spectacular views.  We will regroup at summits, and take photo opp's as they unfold.

We start from the Sirroco Golf Club (just south of Silverado), cruising west to climb the fairly rigorous "Old Road to Nepal." This will taken at your own speed.  Near the top there is a side road to the left where we will regroup. We then climb some more, including one steep hill, to the Leighton Art Centre for lunch.

(Picnic tables, Rocky Mountain views, pink chairs, washroom and EVCC bike rack. No food available.

From Leighton we descend a steep, fast road, then follow a more leisurely valley to the east, and finally north to our start.

Bring food and water. And a bright flashing taillight if you have one.

We'll finish off with a libation and snack on the patio of the Golf Club Restaurant for those who feel they earned it.
