ROAD RIDE - LEVEL: Easy to Intermediate
Date/Time: Saturday, April 3, 12:30 p.m. - please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure we start on time. When you arrive, please maintain appropriate social distance from other ride groups who may be in the parking lot.

Route: Starting at Westside Kings Church, this route follows some of the most classic roads in Springbank. It includes Lower Springbank Road, Huggard’s Road, the lower part of Old Banff Coach Road, and Horizon View.

Sweep: Yes, we will have a designated sweep. Friendly and enthusiastic sweepers help make the ride fun and safe for all participants. The sweep will ride at the back of the group, help navigate, and stay with people who have flat tires or mechanical problems. Thank you to our sweep, Jill Sharpe!
COVID rules: Unfortunately, COVID rules require us to limit groups to a max. of 10 people, before, during and after the ride. Please stay with your group and maintain physical distancing throughout the event. Bring a mask for moments when physical distancing may not be possible. Car-pooling with people outside your immediate household is discouraged.
Sorry, no tailgate parties: Due to the rising cases of COVID-19, we will not be able to linger for "tailgate parties" after the ride. Please stay no more than 15 minutes after you finish riding.

Spring weather and road conditions can be unpredictable. If the temperature is below 5C one hour before the start time, or it is raining or snowing, the event will be rescheduled to April 10.
Friendly reminder: Get your bike out of storage early and make sure it’s in good working order before the ride!
